Commercial Center Associates
Commercial Center Associates is a real estate and community development company founded in 2004 by Joe Hardy in order to coordinate the organization of a unique theatre, retail and restaurant community in the City of Uniontown.

While the company’s primary goal is to lease its retail and office buildings within the central business district of Uniontown to entrepreneurs, Commercial Center Associates also offers business development and marketing consulting services to its tenants in order to engage the business owners in Downtown Uniontown’s evolution as a destination point in the region.

Commercial Center Associates currently owns various properties on Main, Morgantown, Peter and South Streets within the city’s central business district. As the company purchases buildings, it renovates the façades and restores the basic interiors in order to lease buildings to perspective tenants who will develop new business in the City of Uniontown.

Founder Joe Hardy
Joe Hardy is a true American success story, rising from a college student selling home-grown vegetables door-to-door to becoming the founder and CEO of what today is the largest privately-owned building materials supplier to professional contractors – 84 Lumber Company.

In addition to 84 Lumber Company, Joe founded and remains active in the Hardy-family owned Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa, one of North America’s premier resort destinations. Nemacolin Woodlands, a designated Five Diamond Resort by the American Automobile Association (AAA) is located just 13 miles west of Downtown Uniontown.

Joe began to instill his “Nothing is Impossible” philosophy in both Downtown Uniontown and Fayette County, Pennsylvania when he was elected to serve as a County Commissioner there in 2004 at the age of 80. Joe employed the same leadership, vision and drive that created 84 Lumber and Nemacolin Woodlands to lead a multi-million dollar renovation of Uniontown, the largest city in Fayette County. Additionally, he was instrumental in various community development projects across the county during his tenure as a County Commissioner.

Vice President Jessica Hajek
Jessica Hajek is a lifelong resident of Fayette County who began working for Joe at Commercial Center Associates in 2004. Since that time Jessica has led Joe’s vision of a grassroots effort to help transform Downtown Uniontown into a place for local residents to work, play, shop and dine and for tourists to visit as well.

In addition to her responsibilities at Commercial Center Associates, Jessica also manages various special interest projects of Joe’s in Fayette County.

Jessica received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at Waynesburg College and a Master’s Degree in Communication at California University of Pennsylvania.
