Fayette County Courthouse (61 East Main Street) – Built in 1847, Fayette County purchased the property where the courthouse stands from Uniontown’s founder Henry Beeson for six pence which is the equivalent of about six cents today. The Richardson Romanesque structure was built out of local materials and features a clock tower along with a statue of the county’s namesake Marquis de Lafayette in its lobby.

Nemacolin Courtyard (72 East Main Street) – Joe Hardy developed the courtyard on behalf of his family-owned Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in order to welcome visitors to the Fayette County Courthouse which is located across the street. The property is owned by Commercial Center Associates/Fayette Progress Council.

Eberly Square (Corner of Main & Beeson) – Joe Hardy developed Eberly Square in honor of his dear friend, the late-Robert E. Eberly who passed away during Downtown Uniontown’s transformation in 2004. It was Mr. Eberly’s vision that Joe molded into his plans for a renewed city. The square is owned by the Redstone Foundation.

Storey Square (11 East Main Street) – Named in honor of local historian and journalist, the late-Walter “Buzz” Storey, the square received a makeover courtesy of Joe Hardy and family contractors in 2005. The square features a canopied stage, a hand-painted 1,500 square foot mural on its east wall and hosts a variety of events throughout the year. A portion of the property is owned by the City of Uniontown along with Commercial Center Associates/Fayette Progress Council. 

Heritage Plaza (Corner of Pittsburgh & Main) – Located in the center of the roadways that unite Uniontown to both Pittsburgh and Morgantown, Uniontown’s famous son George C. Marshall is portrayed in a bronze statue sitting atop his horse named “Apple Jack” with dog “Fleet” by his side. Financing for the project was provided by the late-Robert & Elouise Eberly, the Eberly Foundation and Charles B. Cluss and is owned by the Uniontown Property Development Corporation.

George C. Marshall Memorial Plaza (5 Corners) – Uniontown’s Gateway locally known as its “Five Corners” features it’s native son the late-Army General George C. Marshall. The plaza includes narrative plaques, rare historical photographs, a statue of the General, the Flags of Nations and an arched bridge over Coal Lick Run where Marshall played as a boy.

Peter Street Parking Garage – Located directly behind Storey Square and the State Theatre Center for the Arts is a 270-space parking garage developed in 2006 by the city in order to accommodate the central theater, shopping and dining district. Rates begin at $2 per hour.

South Street Parking Garage – Located near the Morgantown Street Shops is the city-owned 200+ space parking garage.

2-Hour Main Street Parking – A portion of East & West Main Street in the central theater, shopping and dining district are complimentary 2-hour parking spaces in order to accommodate brief visits to downtown shops, restaurants and businesses.
